HOW OUR MEMBERSHIP WORKS

Membership in the Good Samaritan Society is by an application only. We want to make sure you share the same passion we have for service and perspective on maintaining Godly character. You will be connected with a chapter that’s right for you and make it easy to get involved and on your way to membership immediately.

The Good Samaritan Society Matches you with a chapter
Based on your preferences and interests, our membership coordinator will match you with the local chapter that fits you best.

A local chapter contacts you
A Society chapter member will contact you by email or phone to discuss your interest in the Good Samaritan Society. You’ll be invited to get to know the chapter better by attending a chapter meeting, a social event, or even to join in on a service project as a volunteer.

The chapter invites you to join
Now that you and a local chapter have spent some time together and determined that you’re a good fit for each other, you will be invited to join. Each chapter has its own ways of welcoming new members; they may hold a ceremony for you.

Enjoy getting involved in your new chapter as a Good Samaritan Society member. Join a committee. Lead a service project. Organize a social event. Lead and contribute to your new chapter.
