The Good Samaritan Society of America As a result of a visit to their family home in Fiditi, Oyo State, Nigeria in 1995, Michael and Mary Aderinkomi became critically aware of the need to improve the health care and education, and to decrease the poverty in the local community. Michael Aderinkomi established The Good Samaritan Society of America in 1995, a gift that would bring life physically and spiritually to the people of Nigeria. The Good Samaritan Society Mission Village in Nigeria is an outreach of the Good Samaritan Society of America. The 40 acre village is located near Fiditi in Oyo State, Nigeria. In December of 1998, twenty members of The Grace Chorale, and 6 other people from Grace Free Church journeyed to Nigeria to present seven concerts and take part in the Ground Breaking ceremony for the Good Samaritan Society Mission Village in Fiditi, Oyo State. April of 2001 we returned to Nigeria and called the effort “IMPACT 2001.” The Good Samaritan Society of America in collaboration with The Grace Chorale & Orchestra, presented a sacred concert tour in Oyo State and Lagos State, Nigeria. |
