The Good Samaritan Society of America was founded in St. Paul, Minnesota USA in 1995.
Is this a legitimate NGO/Charity Organization?
TGSSA is a bona fide nonprofit, received its charitable determination letter from IRS on January 12, 1998, as a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization in the United States of America and its Accreditation from Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Its outreach Ministry, The Good Samaritan Society Mission Nigeria was registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) on December 22, 1998, under the Federal Republic of Nigeria Companies and Allied Decree No. 1 of 1990. This organization has been duly registered in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 (1) (a) and (4) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Acts, 2011.
What is the purpose of this organization?
The organization is formed “For the purpose of providing in general, charitable, educational, health care services, economic development, and other eleemosynary services to all humanity regardless of their religion, gender, race, creed or ethnic origin”
Who can join?
The Good Samaritan Society Mission is looking for compassionate, trustworthy, honest, and law-abiding individuals, who are ready to give back to their communities. Individuals who are called on to support the ministries of the TGSSM-Nigeria.
They also have to be passionate about God’s people and be willing to join hands with other likeminded people from all over Nigeria and the world as a whole to further the mission and vision of the organization at large.
How can I become a member?
Application for membership is available online or at the local Chapters. The application will be processed in the USA and forwarded to the State Chapter where the applicant currently resides for interview if determined necessary. All forms and attachments to the Membership Application must be submitted before an applicant can become a registered member.
Is there any other fees or subscription that I have to pay?
Yes, because TGSSM is a volunteer-based organization, there are annual membership dues to support the Ministry’s effort to impact the communities.

What are the benefits of Membership?
There are both tangible and intangible benefits for a member.

Show me your friend, and I will tell you who you are, the adage says. This an organization for people of integrity, who are noble and God-fearing.
As a member of The Good Samaritan Society Mission, you will be connected with a diverse group of Godly individuals, leaders of industries, and people who have excelled in their professions or careers. It’s also an avenue for mentorship, uplifting, advancement, and development of ideas.
Members will be able to meet and connect with people who share their drive to give back and also to help expand their leadership and professional skills.
Members will be able to enjoy a discounted rate from all TGSSM facilities such as School, Clinic, use of community center, and other amenities of the Good Samaritan Society Mission in Nigeria and in the USA.
Members will be able to join and participate in an annual Convention at the TGSSA HQ in Nigeria or any other locations as may be determined from time to time at a reduced rate. There will also be opportunities to be a part of group travel to religious, educational, historical, and/or tourist attractions all around the world.
Members will also benefit from other essential services provided by the Society as may be available from time to time.
Members will have the unequal power of speaking in one voice to protect the “truth” and denounce “evil”.

What’s expected of me as a member?
As a member of TGSSM, you will be asked to be:
• A man or woman of God
• A law-abiding citizen
• Protect the name and integrity of the Society (TGSSM) at all times.
• Pay your annual dues and support the vision of the Society.
• Attend meetings, conventions, and other events as required by the Society.
• Use your professional skills and talents to further the work of the Kingdom and the Communities around your local chapter or other parts of the country in conjunction with other chapters.
How can I be a volunteer for the Society?
The organization is looking for Members who are willing to go through the application and membership process to become bona fide members of the Mission in Nigeria.
Each chapter can recruit and vet volunteers for their mission and projects. The Society can direct volunteers to each of these chapters but volunteers will not be recruited by the organization from the USA.
Volunteers and those willing to help with projects should contact their local chapter for more information. All chapters will be posted on the organization’s website in the near future so potential volunteers can find them easily.
